Welcome To My Home Page

My lifelong love of Staithes and the North East coast was inspired by my childhood. I was born in Hartlepool and spent most weekends exploring the coast or walking on the North York Moors. I learnt to swim in the North Sea and to sail the dingies my dad built. Nowadays I love to paddle my kayak around the coast of Cornwall and the North East of England. I long to live by the sea again.
